A Tandem Skydive is where you are physically harnessed to an instructor during your jump. This allows you to experience the ultimate thrill of free-fall with the expertise of an experienced instructor. After receiving a short briefing from your instructor, you will ride to an altitude of 12,500 ft and then exit the aircraft securely harnessed to your instructor. You’ll free-fall for nearly one minute, before the parachute is deployed at 5,000 ft. You and your instructor will then float down underneath a canopy built for two, enjoying the breath-taking view before a nice soft landing. It really is the experience of a lifetime!

Tandem skydiving or tandem parachuting refers to a type of skydiving where a student skydiver is connected via a harness to a tandem instructor.
The instructor guides the student through the whole jump from exit through free-fall, piloting the canopy, and landing. The student needs only minimal instruction before making a tandem jump. Tandem skydiving is a very popular training method for first time skydivers, and it exposes first-time jumpers to skydiving with minimal expectations from the student.

The training may consist of many of the activities performed by any skydiving student, for example, how to exit the aircraft, how to do maneuvers in free-fall, and how to deploy the main canopy themselves. However, the tandem master remains primarily responsible for a safe and timely parachute deployment.

Making one jump or many, you'll always remember your first.

We specialize in first timers!

What exactly will we be doing during a tandem skydive?

The training for your first Jump will take about a half-hour, depending on how many questions you have. While we "Body Surf" the wind, we can do controlled turns, speed diving, and burn up the sky!
